this is a story that came on the news here last night
we didnt get to see the full video
seems it shows the Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne, Very Rev Geoff Baron, confronting a group of youths riding skateboards on the church property.

Seems to me the priest behaved very badly but was provoked by some very spoiled and disrespectful teens.
The real villains to me is the news reporting and the parents of the boys, the story is very biased and makes the young people victims instead of the provokers that they were.
The priest shouldn’t have that kind of tongue either, but, we all lose it and know what it’s like.
The news story doesn’t say if this has happened before, and how many times, but logic assumes it likely has.
The video however, I feel, tells the story very well.
The parents should have charges filed against them to be more responsible in the behavior of their own children, the church should give the priest another position, and the reporter should line bird cages.
