Children Down, Housework Up

Oz! According to an article in the Denver Post, the percentage of Americans who consider children "very important" to a successful marriage has dropped sharply since 1990, and more now cite the sharing of household chores . In a  list of what people think is important in a marriage, call me silly, I am really curious how sharing household chores is so important. Teamwork maybe?
