A sacred kingfisher in my garden
and boy was i surprised
the only water i have is two small bird baths
not that these guys rely solely on fish, they will eat small reptiles and insects tooPentax da* f4 300mm

    Amazing emerald colours. So unlike our kingfisher in the uk, which is cobalt blue with orangey- red bits.
    I love the way the twigs trail down over your blurred matching emerald green background. Not just any old bird portrait 🙂

  5. What a beautiful bird you have photographed. They are hard to catch an image of. I have never seen this Kingfisher before, the colors and focus are heavenly!
