  2. What an amazing photo! I would love to see a pelican taking off like that in real life — it must be very impressive. They are such neat birds but I have only ever seen them in the zoo.

  3. I liked your comment about your equipment being capable. Isn’t it startling when those great shots come unexpectedly out of your camera and you see what it and you are capable of? I think we are in the golden age of bird photography with what I see on WBW. The new technology in expert hands is showing us our world in unexpected and enthralling ways. Your great picture is evidence of that!
